The Ophelia Principles

There are 8 principles that underpin the Ophelia ( Optimising Health Literacy and Access) process. Applying the principles helps to adapt and implement the process Ophelia process according to local wisdom and needs, while still ensuring that better health and equity outcomes are generated.These principles enable the Ophelia process to be applied in different settings, from low- to high-income countries, and including marginalised and diverse populations.
